The Senior boys 4 x 200M team placed second in a time of 1:30:55. Members of the team are Phillip Hayle, Tyler Hayle, Daniel Harper, and Curtis Peschier.
Phillip Hayle won the 60M open event in a time of 6.88.
Khamica Bingham place second in the open 60M event in a time of 7.63 and Simone Martin placed third in a time of 7.65.

Naoni Kerr : 60M 7.78 (second) 200M 25.14 (third)
Jasmine Patterson 60H 9.41 (first)
Curtis Peschier 60M 7.00 (third)
Daniel Harper placed first in the 200M & 400M events in tines of 22.07 and 49.29 respectively.

Kamika Bingham set a meet record in the 60 M dash in a time of 7.60 in the girls 17 and under category. Kamika place second in the 200M in a personal
best time of 25.55. Gratulation of Kamika's great results on her first meet.
Jared Kerr won gold in the 60M hurdles in a personal best time of 9.51 in the 15 and under boys age group.
Tyler Hayle placed second in the 200M in a time of 22.80 in the boys 17 and under grouping.
Chrisena Whyte placed second in the 400M event in a time of 60.1 in the seventeen and under girls division.

BTC held its annual Awards on December 12. A good time was had by all.

Athletics Ontario announced the 2009 Award winners at the "Celebrating Excellence in Athletics" on Saturday December 5 at the Yorkland Hotel in Toronto.
Naomi Kerr was winner in the midget gilrs sprint / hurdles category. Naomi earned this award through hard work and dedication. Congratulations Naomi.
Simone Martin (Youth)and Daniel Harper (Senior) were noninated in the Youth and Senior sprint / hurdles categories. These awards were won by Chanise Chase (Youth)and Gavin Smellie (Senior).

BTC annual Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday December 12, 2009,
at 3:30 PM at the Wellness Centre.
Awards will be preceded by an extensive festival of food.
In addition to our age class awards, a new award will be given out this year.

The BTC will begin its fall training program on September 14th at 5:00 PM Chinguacousy Park. Our training days are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 5:00 PM. New members may register at these time. (Sept - Dec. fee for new members is $150.00).
400M Gold for Harper - 2009 Canada Summer Games August 24 - 28 Charlettetown PEI

Daniel Harper won the 400M at the Canada Summers Games with a tine of 47.15.
Daniel experience cramping in his right hamstring in the last 150M, thus explaining his slow time.
Daniel ran a personal best of 20.92 in the 200M. He placed second.
