Changes to Supermeet #1 schedule

Changes to Supermeet 1 Schedule
In response to concerns expressed recently by members, several major changes have been made to the schedule of Supermeet 1 (Ontario Jr/Sr Championships, Ottawa, June 20-22).
To help ease the burden on Juniors writing final high school exams (and in some cases to allow them to compete at all), the Junior events scheduled for Friday, June 20 have been cancelled or re-scheduled to the following day:
The JW and JM 400m semi finals will be run as the first track event on Saturday.
The JW and JM 100m heats have been cancelled. If there are more than 24 entrants in either there will be two timed finals scheduled.
The JW 3000m and JM 5000m will be run at the end of the Saturday track programme.

Athletes & Coaches will be leaving for Ottawa on Friday June 20th at 11:45AM. Athletes and coaches will meet at Tim Horton (City Centre).
We will return to Brampton on Sunday June 22nd at approximately 3:00PM.

Training during Xmas is as follows:
January 2- 4:30 PM York University
January 3 / 08 - 5:00 PM York University.
Normal (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) training schedule resumes on January 7/ 08.

The first 2008 indoor meet is on January 20th. Members wishing to compete at this meet must register with the BTC by January 7th.
