Thank You from our Girls Relay Team - BTC Sportsmanship
Posted on July 27th, 2010

Dear Mr. Frank Bucca,
I would like to take a moment to thank your Brampton Track Club for their outstanding show of Sportmanship at this past weekends BMY Ontario Track & Field Championship in London. During the Midget Girls 4 x 800 Relay race our Windsor Legion Girls were told at the last minute that they would not be able to compete because of a mix up in their jerseys.
One of your coaches, John McCart, overheard the discussion from the stands between the Officials, the realy team and the irrate parents and unselfishly volunteered the Brampton Teams jerseys for our girls to wear. Four of your athletes quickly removed their jerseys for our Windsor girls to wear. Our girls took the Brampton jerseys, turned them inside out and were ready just in time. They were thrilled to have had the chance to compete thanks to the unselfish act of your coaching staff. It most likely was the highlight of their weekend. I have attached a picture of the team. Their smiles tell it all.

Thank You Very Much
Michael Therrien
One Grateful Parent
