BTC athletes wanting to reserve a flight seat to Monton for the CND JR. championships need to pay an initial seat deposit of $50.00.
Interested BTC athletes contact Frank Bucca. Frank will then make the necessary booking, once the athlete has paid the $50.00 deposit (read below).
Athletics Ontario group block for flights to Moncton for National Juniors
Athletics Ontario has reserved a group block of 60 seats from Toronto to Moncton from July 1-4, 2010 for the Canadian Junior Championships this summer. We urge clubs to book early.

To book a flight, all that is required initially is a $50 per seat deposit (no name required). Names and final payments would be due 30 days prior to departure. Names can be changed up to 24 hours prior to departure. Make sure to ask for the Athletics Ontario group block. Please see the options and prices listed below:

Khamica Bingham and Simone Martin places first and second respectively in both the 60M and 200M Junior events.
Khamica Bingham is the 2010 Indoor Junior champion the 60M & 200M events.
Khamica ran personal best in both events in times of 7.53 (60M) and 24.60 (200M). Her 60M times breaks the under 17 years and 18 years old age class records. Congratulation Khamica.
Simone Martin placed second in both the 60M & 200M Junior events. Simone's times were 7.59 (60M semi) and a personal best of 24.78 in the 200M.
Phillip Hayle placed second in the Junior boys 60M in a time of 6.85.
Jasmine Patterson is the bronze medalist in the Junior girls 60M hurdles.
Jasmine ran a pesonal best of 9.12.
Jayanna Dilworth-Laing placed 3rd in the Midget girls 60M, posting a best time of 8.15.
Jarred Kerr placed 3 rd in the midget boys 60M hurdles posting a personal best time of 9.25.

Brampton Track Club broke the Youth Girls 4 x 200m record of 1:43.66 with a time of 1:42.56. Members of this record-setting team are Khamica Bingham, Khadijah Thompson, Nita Patterson-Reid and Naomi Kerr.
BTC Junior girls 4 x 200M and junior girls 4 x 400M place first in both events in times of 1:45:49 and 4:05:20 respectively.
Members of 4 x 200M Junior girls are Simone Martin, Daniela Anane-Bediakoh,
Chrisena Whyte, and Alexus Nugent.
Members of the 4 x400M Junior girls are Nomi Kerr, Ali McCart, Brittany Kerr, and Chrisena Whyte.

The Senior boys 4 x 200M team placed second in a time of 1:30:55. Members of the team are Phillip Hayle, Tyler Hayle, Daniel Harper, and Curtis Peschier.
Phillip Hayle won the 60M open event in a time of 6.88.
Khamica Bingham place second in the open 60M event in a time of 7.63 and Simone Martin placed third in a time of 7.65.

Kamika Bingham set a meet record in the 60 M dash in a time of 7.60 in the girls 17 and under category. Kamika place second in the 200M in a personal
best time of 25.55. Gratulation of Kamika's great results on her first meet.
Jared Kerr won gold in the 60M hurdles in a personal best time of 9.51 in the 15 and under boys age group.
Tyler Hayle placed second in the 200M in a time of 22.80 in the boys 17 and under grouping.
Chrisena Whyte placed second in the 400M event in a time of 60.1 in the seventeen and under girls division.

BTC held its annual Awards on December 12. A good time was had by all.

Athletics Ontario announced the 2009 Award winners at the "Celebrating Excellence in Athletics" on Saturday December 5 at the Yorkland Hotel in Toronto.
Naomi Kerr was winner in the midget gilrs sprint / hurdles category. Naomi earned this award through hard work and dedication. Congratulations Naomi.
Simone Martin (Youth)and Daniel Harper (Senior) were noninated in the Youth and Senior sprint / hurdles categories. These awards were won by Chanise Chase (Youth)and Gavin Smellie (Senior).

BTC annual Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday December 12, 2009,
at 3:30 PM at the Wellness Centre.
Awards will be preceded by an extensive festival of food.
In addition to our age class awards, a new award will be given out this year.
